Chonkwon - means sky.  The sky is seen to be ruler of the universe and human beings.  It is mysterious, infinite and profound.  From ancient man to today’s astrophysicist the sky remains an infinite mystery.  Human eyes can only see so far as they peer into this depth, which leaves the imagination to fill in the remaining void.  As we look into the sky, humility overtakes us, for surely, that which is beyond our comprehension is greater than we are.
The motions of Chonkwon are full of piety and vitality.  Chonkwon is the poomse for 7th Dan.
